Paleo Minced Turkey Nuggets (Baked, No Egg, No Dairy)

Just tried this recipe this arvo, hmm… very delicious!

Possible kitchen equipment / utensils to use:

  1. Spoons
  2. Oven
  3. Disposable gloves
  4. Bowls
  5. Food processor
  6. Oven tray + baking paper

What you would need:

  1. Frozen Minced Turkey 500 gr*
  2. Frozen coriander greens 3-5 stalks*
  3. Sweet potato / tapioca flour 1/3 – 1/2 cup
  4. Ground black pepper 1/2 tsp – 1 tsp
  5. Sea salt / Himalayan salt 1 – 1.5 tsp
  6. Coconut flour 1/2 cup
  7. Oil or fat of your choice, I used coconut oil spray

*If you’re using fresh ingredient, add 1/4 cup cold water or ice cubes

How to:

  1. Heat the oven to 200 C, use the second tray from the bottom
  2. Put into the food processor ingredients 1-5. Crush until all ingredients mixed well
  3. Put the coconut flour in a different bowl
  4. Prepare a medium size baking paper to collect the pre-baked nuggets
  5. Use the disposable gloves and start making balls, the size of a quarter coin, from the mixed turkey
  6. Drop the mixed turkey ball into the coconut flour, let the flour cover it evenly. Shake it off a bit before putting it onto the medium size baking paper, squash it till it goes quarter the size of the ball. Repeat method for the entire recipe. You may need more than one medium baking paper.
  7. Now after the baking paper is full, coat the squashed nuggets evenly with your choice of fat
  8. Put them onto the tray and bake it 15 – 25 minutes
